Cultural Connections – Multicultural Peer Support Model, Individual Capacity Building & Empowerment in Disability
Cultural Connections is delivered by a consortium group led by the MCCSA.
This project develops and delivers culturally sensitive and accessible activities and resources for CALD people with disability, their families and carers that explain their right to lead a good life, enhance their understanding of the support and services available, to assist them achieve their goals, and build their capacity and confidence to overcome stigma and social isolation.
The project includes:
Australians for Syria SA, Iranian Women Organisation of SA, Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia Inc, Congolese Community of South Australia, St Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church Parish Association, Chinese Welfare Services of SA, KDG Partnerships, Uniting SA and MCCSA.
