Are you a young person from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background struggling with family, school, or housing?
Our Multicultural Reconnect is here to help.

What is Multicultural Reconnect?

Multicultural Reconnect offers free, confidential, and voluntary support for young people aged 12-18 from CALD backgrounds in Adelaide. We’re here to help if you:

  • Are homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Are having problems at home or school
  • Speak a language other than English at home
  • Have parents born overseas
  • Are newly arrived in Australia

How We Can Help

Our experienced team uses a culturally sensitive approach to support young people from diverse backgrounds. We offer:

  • Outreach services across metropolitan Adelaide
  • Counselling and emotional support
  • Family mediation and conflict resolution
  • Guidance on education and community engagement
  • Practical support to access accommodation and secure finances
  • Help with managing substance use
  • Assistance to re-engage with family, school, and community
  • Support to identify and achieve personal goals
  • Referrals to other helpful services

We can meet you at home, school, or another location that suits you across metropolitan Adelaide.
