  3. Complete a free police check (we’ll help with paperwork)
  4. Start volunteering!

Volunteer for as little as one hour a fortnight.
We ask for a 6-month commitment.

Note: If you volunteer through Centrelink, you may need to do 15 hours a week.

Volunteer Opportunities

Transport Services
Volunteers are required to drive our community groups in our 12 seater bus and some of our service uses are frail or have a disability
Community Visitors Scheme
Volunteers with connected with people living in aged care facilities to provide friendship and companionship

Successful Communities
Volunteers act as mentors to community groups to support them to achieve their goals. This may include help with financial management, organisational, leadership and administration skills.
Group Work Volunteers
MCCSA host numerous groups for seniors, youth, parents and children. These include arts programs, play groups, movement and exercise classes and digital literacy programs. Volunteers act as course teachers or helpers on the day

General Administration
As a small community services organisation, we are often reliant on volunteers to help within the administration of our services so we can value add to the communities we represent. We often are requiring people with specialist human resources skills, events management or marketing, project support and research skills
