THE MCCSA BUILDING RESILIENT CALD COMMUNITIES PROJECT: EVALUATION REPORT – JULY 2020

The MCCSA Building Resilient CALD Communities Project has provided 10 communities with an increase in knowledge about specific types of disasters and the key organisations responsible for managing their impact, as well as improved knowledge about where to access relevant information and alerts.

CREATIVE INCLUSION: REVIEW OF A CREATIVE ARTS YOUTH CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM – MAY 2018

The MCCSA commissioned this review of a community capacity building project that targets vulnerable young people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

The Project was funded by Grants SA as a pilot, with a timeframe of only ten weeks and adds to the MCCSA’s core program of community development and social inclusion.

The MCCSA has applied a community development strategy in implementing the Successful Communities Project and this has been both appropriate and effective, based on consistent feedback from participating communities and the Project team.

Kick Starting Childhood Success Pilot Pro gram : Final Evaluation Report – March 2017

The Kick Starting Childhood Success pilot program is a multicultural information and mentoring program designed by the Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia (MCCSA) to support culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women to fully appreciate the value of childhood issues and services directed at education, health and family wellbeing.

Responding to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Carers

Carers Voices – Nov 2007

The project’s core aims are to give carers in culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities a voice; to identify their needs; and to review current service responses to this sector.

It also provided Office for The Ageing with information which would advise their
HaCC funding priorities.
