MCCSA are working towards accreditation and anticipate that by the end of 2017 it will be accredited under the Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES).
This is a quality framework which supports community service organisations to effectively manage resources, gain better understanding of customer needs and improve accountability and reporting.
The accreditation is particularly relevant for a medium-sized community organisations such as MCCSA with emerging systems and processes.
It focuses on quality improvement and an organisation’s continuous learning and helps provide a guide to improve service provision and management systems. It is consumer focused and recognises the unique characterises of the community services sector.
