MCCSA is pleased to inform our members that the Department of Healthhas translated information about the COVID19 tracking app in various languages for our CALD communities. We thank the Department for expanding their outreach to our diverse communities. Please ensure that you share this information with your communities.
The COVIDsafe app is non-compulsory but we do encourage our CALD communities to download the app from the Apple store or Google Play. Some of your members may find it difficult to download the App please find innovative ways that can assist them with this, possibly children or grandchildren may be able to guide them.
While we continue our good hygiene practice and social distancing we should also take further steps to reduce infection rates across Australia as this will help our government move more quickly to ease some of the current restrictions.
According to the Australian Health Department the COVIDSafe app will help slow the spread of coronavirus in our country by speeding up the process of notifying people who have in contact with someone with the virus.
